Cyclone Amphan: Kindness Is Best Form Of Humanity, Says Paoli Dam
The West Bengal state has been devastated after cyclone Amphan made its landfall on Wednesday. The cyclone has left thousands of people homeless and killed around 84 people in the state. Thousands of trees were uprooted, electricity and telephone poles were disrupted. The state government has started the rescue work in the affected areas.

Actress Paoli Dam shared her thoughts on the current situation, “Kindness is the best form of humanity. Let us be kind to all human beings, animals, trees. Let’s provide as much help as we can to rebuild and restore the land we call home.”

The actress is currently in Kolkata with her parents. She was here for a shooting but suddenly lockdown was announced and she was unable to return back to Guwahati where her husband stays.


On the work front, Paoli Dam will be next seen in Abhijaan which is a biopic on veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee. Parambrata Chatterjee is directing the film.

Jisshu Sengupta will be essaying the role of young Soumitra Chatterjee. The film will also feature Qaushiq Mukherjee, Rudranil Ghosh in the pivotal roles.

Her performance in Sanjhbati was appreciated a lot. The film stars Dev Adhikari, Soumitra Chattopadhyay and Lily Chakraborty. Sanjhbati film has been appreciated by the movie buffs. The film was released in 2019 and was directed by Leena Gangopadhyay.

The film talks about relationships and even puts a question about how we treat our parents when they become old. Soumitra Chatterjee and Lily Chakraborty live a lonely life as their children have left them. In such a situation two strangers played by Dev and Paoli Dam who work as their caretakers.
